Early Fall--do you hear the calling of the earth???

Do you feel the gentle stirring of the earth calling out to you to begin to
go inside? Fall is a time to inventory our growth emotional, vocational, in
our families, and our social sets. In those moments when there is stillness in the air
and the faint hint of a cooling comes, we are called inside-- away from the hustle, bustle
and laughter of the summer months.
We are called to notice what our harvest looks like~~
During this season we are put on notice that we are mortal--and that we each have a
number of days in which to create, achieve and connect with those we love.
Soon the garden will be bare and go dormant---time to dream during the depth of winter....
But first we harvest and take stock.
If you find yourself interested in a guide--someone to help you sort your harvest and
plan your next season of growth--or just to celebrate and witness your amazing harvest
give me a call so we can get you started.

I saw a blossom bursting from a tree yesterday...
New growth is surging with life, teeming from within with blooms and blossoms yet to come.
While the season of rest can look still and silent, inside it is full, rich, and busy.
Isn't it true for you?
Inside are amazing possibilites, ideas, creative force surging with new life for your life.
Can you feel it?
if not, maybe a sense of the chaotic-now is blocking your growth potential.
Don't stunt your growth and miss the full and abundant growth you are meant to have.
Experience the excitement of new growth coming.
Therapy can help you connect with the creative force inside.
Sometimes there is a sense of stuck. But you don't have to be stuck with it!!!!
Reach inside that quiet place and start by finding the fragile buds and watching them grow!!!!!

Autumn Stillness

In the quiet moments of the morning, there is a hush and stillness in the fall. It feels lonely yet full of promise. Humans have not lost the echoes of our agrarian roots--we intuitively resonate with the cycles of nature. Autumn is a time when the crops have been cleared from the fields and the harvest is in. The fields begin to rest, to wonder about what is next, to reflect on the growth it has produced. It is a time to rejoice and be grateful for what has been--and to restore for what will be.
Are you in touch with the supportive energies around your life? Now is a great time of reflection, appreciation, and quiet gratitude. Take some time to appreciate the cycles of your life and move within them. Nature loves your company.

Why are relationships so hard????
We all want to love and be loved, right? So what gets in the way of us finding our bliss?
This is not an easy question to answer, but here are some insights.
It takes all of a person--every last nook and cranny to relate to every last nook and cranny of another person while in the
maelstrom of living life. Stress, challenges in schedules, other relationships that relate to the couple, financial stressors,
differences in values, communications styles, gender role ideals, and needs that have been unmet or undermet over a
lifetime--all of these things can get seriously in the way of our happiness together.
The good news is they don't have to destroy a wonderful conncection.
Learning to work together to identify both partners needs, and to negotiate together in meeting them, are the keys to a happy
loving relationship.
Couples therapy is a wonderful, safe place to start this lifetime journey together.
Be Well--Be Loved.
lost and lonely

Sometimes healing feels like such a lonely place. We often feel alone in our pain, alone with our sadness. It is in that place that we often feel most powerless, and too overwhelmed to move forward or even feel. The real truth is we are never alone. We don't have to sit with our feelings alone, we don't have to wrestle with our thoughts alone. If you feel alone reach out to supportive people around you. Tell them specifically what you need from them: please just listen to me and tell me what you heard me say, or please sit with me in loving silence while I feel my feelings. Sometimes we retreat to a lonely place because our efforts to reach out to others who mean well, hurt!
If you are in need of support also consider a helping professional who is trained in how to respond in a supportive, compassionate manner. Please do not stay in a lonely hopeless place because you feel alone. Healing IS possible for ALL things.

Do you think a flower every worries that it is taking too long to bloom, or that
its flowers are malformed, or its blooms inadequate? Do you think it ever judges
itself for not being a tree, a bird, a cloud? My sense is--it basks lovingly in the
warmth of the sun, sending its roots deep into the richness of the earth to find
nurturing sustainance, in an eternal moment of peace without a thought of what
it "should" be.
Therapy is the sacred process of being honest with ourselves---discovering and
uncovering who we are, learning to appreciate and bask in the miracle of our lives
and mastering new skills--without judgement of ourselves. Embracing all of
ourselves: our feelings, our values. our true beliefs, our actions and how they are
shaping our life experience. This is the work of integrative psychotherapy.
Integrative Psychotherapy incorporates traditional counseling techniques with
shamanic, transpersonal, and somatic approaches to assist those on the healing journey
to reunify with the deepest, most geniune Self.
Give yourself the gift of your Highest, most abundant Self--connect to all of you.
